Letter from COMPASS Board President, John Marston:

On behalf of COMPASS' Board of Directors, and its Executive Director, John Lydon, I would like to welcome you to COMPASS' website.

COMPASS is a community-based, not-for-profit, special needs school and social service agency dedicated to providing comprehensive educational, counseling, support and enrichment services to at-risk youth, adolescents and families through its school based and family based programs.

Founded in 1974, COMPASS' Mission is "to equip those it serves with the skills to become self-sufficient, productive members of their communities and society." Throughout its history, COMPASS has maintained its commitment to providing the highest quality services, with an experienced, committed and diverse staff.

As the Executive Director of COMPASS, I would like to extend our best wishes for a successful year ahead to each of you visiting COMPASS' website.

Our website is one way COMPASS communicates information about our programs, to help visitors learn more about the services that we provide and what they mean to the youth and families we work with.

COMPASS staff and Board of Directors are moving into a new year with renewed dedication and commitment to providing quality services to the most vulnerable youth and families in Boston and urban inner cities throughout Massachusetts.
