The Rodman Celebration for KidsThe Rodman 5th Annual Holiday Celebration for Kids was a great success. More than 2,000 guests gathered at the Seaport World Trade Center on Saturday, December lst to enjoy the chef tastings, wine samplings, dancing, and silent and live auctions with Glenn Ordway, Susan Wornick and Mark Wahlberg. More than $800,000 was raised for The Rodman Ride for Kids, which supports children's social service agencies throughout Massachusetts that make a postive difference in the lives of children. Sandy Skinner, COMPASS' Development and Special Events Coordinator, did a great job recruiting and training over 20 COMPASS volunteers for the event. Congratulations to Sandy and staff for a job well done! COMPASS received $7,500 for its participation in the event, money earmarked for necessities that will help make the holiday season brighter for COMPASS' children and adolescents.
